PROJECT 1 Habitat, ornithological and bat surveys of road/greenway schemes

Under a variety of contracts to a variety of consulting engineers including RPS Consultants, WhiteMountain (Breedon Group), Barry Consultants and ATMOS consultants, KRC Ecological Ltd. have used their specialist knowledge, skills and experience to undertake a number of assessments via both desk- or field studies of infrastructural developments across Ireland. This includes major road schemes in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, greenways/walking trails in the midlands and The Mournes. We have undertaken Breeding Bird Surveys, Raptor Vantage point watches, Brown & Shepherd upland bird surveys, Phase 1 habitat surveys, acoustic monitoring of bats, and wintering bird surveys, identifying potential impacts and constraints, and guiding on mitigation where appropriate.
